Start a Local Contest

Producing a local Little Miss & Mister Little Contest is a wonderful, rewarding way to give back to the age play community. If you’re interested in event planning, fundraising, and, of course, age play, you’re likely just the sort of person--or group!--who could host a really marvelous contest.

When you decide to produce a local Little Miss & Mister Little Contest, you can make a number of aesthetic and practical decisions to best reflect YOUR age play community. Perhaps your local group is more focused on dark age play. Perhaps a more light hearted event would be in order. Perhaps a large portion of your local age players enjoy school role play--and that can be incorporated into your contest! We at International are really excited to see what “flavor” of Little your contest can send us!

Requirements for Starting a Feeder Contest
  • Remember that local Little Miss & Mister Little Contests are feeder contests for the International Contest. The International Contest consists of Interview, Dress, Talent, and Pop Question sections. Your local contest may follow whatever format you deem most suitable, but keep in mind that your titleholders should be selected based on their ability to perform well in these categories and according to the International Contest Rules.
  • International is in mid-November in San Francisco annually, hosted by Dark Odyssey: Surrender, so plan your contest to give your titleholders enough time to arrange travel, raise and save funds, etc.
  • Offer prizes and have titleholder responsibilities that will benefit your local age play community. You MUST present the titleholders each with a crown, sash, and leather patch. A medallion may be substituted for the leather patch, in addition to it, or not at all.
  • There is an annual $25 Chapter Fee due upon registering your feeder contest. Once this is paid, via PayPal or check, your contest will be listed in the official roster, you will receive a logo kit, and your titleholder will be recognized by and eligible for the International Contest. You must also donate one item to our local fundraising raffle and ensure that your titleholder will be a contestant at the International Contest. You (or your contestant) are responsible for handling the costs of attending the International Contest incurred by travel, accommodation, etc. These funds may be provided either directly or via fundraising.
  • You must agree that your contest will use our official branding, including fonts, colors, logo, etc. in materials.
  • We request that you document your event as fully as possible via interviews, articles, pictures, video, etc. in order to help maintain our community history.
  • Contestants may not be barred from entry based on gender or lack thereof, but must enter either the Mister or Miss Division for scoring purposes. Upon winning the title, titleholders may insist on being called by whichever honorific they feel is most appropriate.
  • You must agree that your feeder contest will be open to age players regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religious or spiritual beliefs, or political affiliation.
